Outside of music she is constantly working and often uses her songs with her social clout to help the causes she believes in, like breast cancer research. Crow was diagnosed with breast cancer after her break-up with long-time boyfriend Lance Armstrong. She also supports the Scleroderma Research Foundation, the Delta Children`s Home and the Vietnam Veterans of America Foundation. Crow`s newest album, Detours, will be released in 2008.
