Vanessa Carlton creates the songs you just want to sing along to, the kind of songs that everybody knows and sings at the top of their lungs when they are alone in the car. The singer/songwriter/pianist skills make her music just so damn catchy. Her debut album Be But Nobody featured Billboard hits A Thousand Miles and Ordinary Day. Carlton followed that up by covering Joni Mitchell`s Big Yellow Taxi with the Counting Crows for the Two Weeks Notice Soundtrack. Carlton dated Third Eye Blind`s Stephan Jenkins, who produced her second album Harmonium until earlier this year. Carlton released her third album Heroes and Thieves in October. Her music has been featured on Gap and Time Warner commercials as well as the television show American Dreams.
