She has released 3 hit albums in 3 years. Most artist worry about the sophomore slump, but each of Rihanna`s albums is more successful than the next. The Barbadian bombshell first single Pon De Replay hit radios in 2005. While the album Music of the Sun didn`t have much critical success, it was quickly followed by 2006`s A Girl Like Me. Released only eight months after it`s predecessor, it included insanely popular songs SOS, Unfaithful, We Ride and Break It Off with Sean Paul. The success of the album led to endorsements from Nike and Clinque. For her third album, Good Girl Gone Bad, Rihanna worked with industry heavyweights Timbaland, Jay-Z, Ne-Yo and Justin Timberlake. It paid off because Umbrella was the song of this summer and is the longest running single by a female artist since Whitney Houston. The song even sparked a line of Rihanna inspired umbrellas from totes. Rihanna has been recently linked to actor Josh Hartnett.
