When People magazine announced that Matt Damon was the 2007`s Sexiest Man Alive only one question arouse: what took them so long? The easy on the eyes actor`s charm bowled audiences over in 1996`s Good Will Hunting, the film that he and best friend Ben Affleck won an Academy Award for Best Screenplay. Hunting was hardly Damon`s first film; he made his debut alongside Julia Roberts in Mystic Pizza. He also starred in School Ties, Courage Under Fire, The Rainmaker, All the Pretty Horses, Saving Private Ryan, Rounders, The Talented Mr. Ripley, Dogma, The Legend of Bagger Vance, The Good Shepherd, The Departed and The Ocean`s trilogy. In 2002, Damon surprised audiences with his turn in an action movie as Jason Bourne in the Bourne Identity. The success of the film prompted the release of The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum. Damon dated Winona Ryder, Minnie Driver but has been married to Luciana Barroso in 2005. They couple has two daughters Alexia and Isabella.
