A veritable chameleon, the Queen of Pop has come along way from the self-proclaimed ???boy-toy??? singing ???Like a Virgin??? on the MTV Music Awards. Madonna???s effect on the musical world is undeniable; hits ???Holiday???, ???Material Girl???, ???Express Yourself??? and ???Secret??? forever changed music. While high profile romances with the likes of Sean Penn, Warren Beatty and Dennis Rodman kept her in tabloid fodder; it was in pushing the envelope on issues of sexuality, religion and social awareness where Madonna really made her mark. Madge also tried her hand at acting, garnering roles in Dick Tracey, Desperately Seeking Susan and A League of Their Own, but she did not receive much critical acclaim until 1996???s Evita. Though her current study of Kabbalah has certainly centered the songstress, she shows no signs of slowing down. Not only is she still producing hit albums, 2005???s Confessions on a Dance Floor, she recently wrapped the highest grossing tour of any female artist. Today Madonna resides in London with husband Guy Ritchie, and children Lourdes, Rocco, and David Banda.
