Upon first hearing LeAnne Rimes sing ???Blue??? in 1996 no one could comprehend that she was only 13. The country crooner???s voice was strong, soulful and embodied such sorrow that it seemed to belong to someone else. Rimes is the youngest person to win a Grammy, winning two for Best New Artist and Best Female County Vocal Performance. While many young artists are just a flash in the pan, Rimes continues to shine. ???Blue??? was followed by ???One Way Ticket???, ???How Do I Live??? and ???Commitment???. In 2000 she lent her musical talent to the film Coyote Ugly, which featured Rimes and her song ???Can???t Fight the Moonlight???. At the age of 19, she married back-up dancer Dean Sheremet. Rimes hosted the 2005 season of USA???s Nashville Star and appeared on an episode of American Dreams. In recent months, she can be seen on The Today Show, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Jimmy Kimmel Live and Dancing With The Stars in an effort to promote her new album Family.
