Katie Holmes got her first taste of fame starring in the television teen drama Dawson`s Creek as Joey Potter. Holmes soon starred in movies like The Ice Storm, Go, Teaching Mrs. Tingle, and later on in her career, Batman Begins. In early 2005, she and Tom Cruise, sixteen years her senior, began dating. Cruise and Holmes got engaged shortly thereafter in Paris. They got married in a lavish ceremony in Italy. Holmes and Cruise now have a daughter, Suri, together.
