Jake Gyllenhaal

Son of director Stephen Gyllenhaal and screenwriter Naomi Foner, Jake Gyllenhaal is the younger brother of actress Maggie Gyllenhaal. After appearing in 2001`s Bubble Boy and his break out role in the cult classic Donnie Darko, Jake Gyllenhaal gained momentum as an upcoming Hollywood leading man. With a high profile relationship with Kirsten Dunst and roles in Day After Tomorrow, Moonlight Mile, Proof, and Jarhead, Gyllenhaal was soon a bonafide star. 2005`s Brokeback Mountain made him an Oscar nominee and a Hollywood A-lister. He has been most recently romantically linked with his Rendition costar Reese Witherspoon. He is also godfather to Heath Ledger`s and Michelle William`s daughter.
