Hilary Swank could have been destined for mere small screen success thanks to roles in Growing Pains, Evening Shade and Camp Wilder but the Oscar winning actress was cut from Beverly Hills 90210 after only 16 episodes. This bad break allowed her to audition for the critically acclaimed Boy`s Don`t Cry. Her turn as Brandon Teena won her an Oscar and a Golden Globe and caught the attention of Clint Eastwood. The rest, as they say, is history. Swank starred in Eastwood`s Million Dollar Baby with Eastwood and Morgan Freeman, earning a second Oscar for Best Actress. The Hollywood megastar was given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in January of this year. She has starred in The Black Dahlia, Freedom Writers and The Reaping.
