Gwyneth Paltrow was born to act. Her parents, Bruce Paltrow and Blythe Danner are both in the entertainment industry. But she proved that her talent matched her pedigree starring in the romantic comedy/drama, Shakespeare in Love. She won the Oscar for her portrayal in this film. Before the groundbreaking role, Paltrow made her film debut with a small part in the film Shout. In 1995, she starred with Brad Pitt in Se7en. She and Pitt hit it off, and the two were soon engaged, but they broke up two years later. Paltrow is now married to rocker Chris Martin. They have a son and a daughter together.
