Gwen Stefani is the eptomie of girl power. The front woman to the otherwise all male ska band No Doubt, Stefani knows how to command the stage. Just a Girl, Spiderwebs and Don`t Speak may have put her in the spotlight but her solo career is why she will stay there. Her first solo album Love.Angel.Music.Baby took the world by storm in 2004 with synthesized 80s styled hits and solid reggae and rap influenced beats. Rich Girl, Luxurious and Hollaback Girl each had a unique sound but a feel that was all Stefani. She took a break from touring in 2006 to have son, Kingston, whose father is Stefani`s husband, Gavin Rossdale of Bush. Stefani`s second solo album, The Sweet Escape, was release in 2006 and features collaborations with The Neptunes and Akon. Stefani, very much the fashionista, heads up her own couture clothing line L.A.M.B. She also appeared in the Martin Scorsese film The Aviator with Leonardo DiCaprio, Cate Blanchett and Alec Baldwin.
