The career of Jessica Simpson's little sister is anything but little. When Simpson, 23, burst on to the musical scene with 2003's Autobiography she was no stranger to the spotlight with small roles in Malcolm in the Middle, 2002's The Hot Chick and a starring role in 7th Heaven. Pieces of Me, LaLa, and Shadow made Autobiography a hit, but much of the album's success is credited to MTV's The Ashlee Simpson Show which chronicled the creation of the album as well as Simpson's personal life. Simpson has received much criticism for her unique voice, culminating in 2004 when she was caught lip-synching on SNL. While it was purported to be caused by severe acid reflux, Simpson was subsequently booed after a performance at the 2005 Orange Bowl. Despite all this, Simpson bounced back with 2005's I am Me. Simpson remade herself in 2006; her new look was topped off with a new nose and the well-received role of Roxie Hart in the London showing of Chicago. While Simpson has been linked to Ryan Cabrera, Josh Henderson and Wilmer Valderrama, she is currently hot and heavy with Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz.
